Nursery teaching is the foundation of learning; the first five years is the time the child can absorb the most. What is learnt in these years is the foundation for all future learning. We consider the whole child to be important. Our curriculum below, covers the following areas of development of a child and a record of the child’s development across these areas provides a picture of the whole child.
By participation in group activities and free play, children learn to interact with each other hence learning the concepts of sharing, caring being selfless, leadership and self-discipline.
By providing a wide range of educational equipment like toys, computer Infogrames, jigsaw puzzles, number and letter cards, stories and rhymes which improve their concentration and basic intellectual skills.
Through social interaction, children experience different emotions and learn how to deal with them.
Through project/theme work, children acquire knowledge of the world around them to spark curiosity and to broaden their minds.
Through art and craft, music, dance and drama the children can acquire creative skills.
